Nope, what's going to lead to much increased online censorship (and I'm aware that's not the same thing as free speech so cool it with your peaches thing you're always bringing up) and the CIA and NSA gaining even more power with new legislation, is pretending that these people were a real threat to the Republic. I think those politicians are all thrilled that the capitol was invaded. They couldn't have asked for a bigger present, and if they could run it all back, I don't think they'd want to change a thing. Q Anon Shaman is no threat to me or my speech.
Donald Trump almost called for a state of emergency over the election results. Why are people ignoring this huge holy shit moment to focus on shirtless clown with a viking helmet? Is it because it's easier to argue for new terrorism legislation and online censorship by focusing on the clown in the viking helmet rather than the man in office who actually might have called for a state of emergency?
