Except then there are the jackasses who claim that if Hitler accepted jesus before pulling the trigger that he is "saved" while Gandhi rots in hell.

There is no reasoning with dickheads of that ilk.

I personally think Gandhi should rot in hell. Behind the facade of his loin cloth, he was eager enough to try to use the savagery of the Japanese army to do his supposedly non-violent work for him, which, had it been successful in the way he wanted, would have made Hitler's life easier in Europe.
