Again, a shooter wouldn’t need to break into a school’s gun safe - all he’d have to do is get to where it is. Then, he could either access the contents or keep the cops from utilizing those contents. Think really hard. You can do this!
Boru
If the monster is camped out waiting for someone to retrieve a locked up weapon - he' s not shooting at anyone.
You' d rather he go find children to shoot??
In every scenario you people cook up - a whacked out teenager is omnipotent and no adult can stop them even if armed with seni- auto rifles.....
It really looks like you don' t want any solution....
And we’re assuming he’d be camped out waiting for someone else to get the AR-15 out of its safe why, exactly? Sounds like that’s just more incentive to get his carnage out of the way as quickly as possible.
And I think Boru does have a solution: keep guns out of the hands of those who are likely to commit harm to others. If it were harder for a potential school shooter to get a hold of a weapon, we’d have a hell of a lot fewer mass murders. Case in point: the vast majority of other developed nations on the planet have stricter gun laws than the US, and if a mass shooting happens, it happens once every couple years.
The UK has gun laws strict enough that even the cops often don’t carry guns. How many mass shootings (4+ dead) do you think have happened since I was born in December 1989? Four. How long has it been since America had 4 mass shootings with 4+ people dead? 11 days.
