That would depend on how bad things got. Making trans healthcare illegal isn’t too much of a stretch. Neither is outlawing the use of public restrooms. Making it a crime just to be transgender might be a stretch, republicans are doing lots of things now that would have been a stretch a decade ago.
Being postop and financially stable offers me some protection. So does having an accepting employer and family. Still, there’s no way I can be certain I’m safe in a state run by religious fundamentalists
