I'm weird, though, for it would make me more interested in the person if they were to mention how they share a birthday with a monster or serial killer from history.

I don't think any date would buy that I shared a birthday with Godzilla, but I like the hypothetical.

I was referring to the metaphorical monster, which I suppose means I simply used a synonym for serial killer. Although not all metaphorical monsters are serial killers, for there are other ways of being a monster.
