Even I'm not spoiled enough to consider that abuse. But my parents are still pretty stupid.

Of course they are.  Your mother has an advanced degree and I don't know what you father does.  But not letting you be a lifelong leech isn't a sign of stupidity.

My dad is retired and just putzes around with online marketing and stocks. I'm almost glad they don't give me enough money, it's given me an incentive to be more of a whore.
