This rule is useful in terms of preventing posting inappropriate links, but when a user submits 3 posts, then it is clear that he/she is the user who submits inappropriate links.

Without that rule (and sometimes with it) we tend to get flooded with links that are irrelevant, spammy, pornographic, racist, and pointless.

Once you’ve been a member for 30 days, as Tomato (PBUH!) says, and have made 30 posts, you can post all the links you want, provided they don’t violate other rules.
