Interesting, because, federal law, which is supposedly above state law, makes no exceptions with respect to death penalty cases.  If the SCOTUS conservatives are truly reconstructionists, on what legal basis could they decide for Oklahoma?

If they did that, it would just prove that SCOTUS, as dominated by far right conservatives, is just a political institution, a second legislature, as opposed to a true judiciary. No way, no how, could SCOTUS ever elevate Oklahoma law above federal law with respect to an individual's civil rights.
