I'm not even trying to be a badass, all I'm saying is that "caring" is for people who don't really understand life well enough to not get taken advantage of.

As for people who care not understanding life enough to avoid being used I'd say that's an unsupported statement made by someone who admittedly is speaking out of ignorance about what it means to care about others.
