Are there medical conditions that prevent reversal? (serious question)
A vasectomy is not always reversible and it is an expensive, elective surgery.
It is not for everyone. But, the efficacy of reversal would be a reasonable expectation for young men as long as it is done within ten years. The cost for a vasectomy is expected to be under $1000. Reversal is about $3000 but can be much more in certain cases. Insurance covers vasectomy but not reversal. Government subsidies and incentives in regard to vasectomies and reversals would seem prudent. I am not sure that it would not actually increase the risk of STDS though. Dudes might forego condoms more.
