Nor did I think so many atheists would just discredit this proposition out of hand without giving it a second thought. I suppose they deny energy and sentience like they deny God, but I mean most people are only atheists because they have some vexation against God, so it makes sense I guess, don't want to believe in something you hate. I get it. Which is why many people stopped believing in the United States as well.
I take it you were only an atheist because you had some vexation against God. How does that work? If you don't believe God is real, it would be like having a vexation against Lex Luthor. No matter how bad someone portrays the character to be, the most you can be vexed at is the artist or writer, it seems to me. Lex Luthor never did anything to me. Even if I was vexed at the character, it wouldn't affect my opinion on whether he was real or not. I'm vexed at my ex-brother-in-law, but that doesn't have any effect on my view of his existence. So how does being vexed at God without believing in God work?
Quite well apparently as just as you can see from this thread alone all the angry responses by these dedicated atheists at the mere mention that God might exist. If they aren't vexed then they wouldn't be so angry to talk about the existence of God. I think it happens to most of us when we are in our teens, I just outgrew it, with the help of a little Kaneh Bosm. Thank God for Kaneh Bosm.
