Neither you nor Dr. Ehrman came to any such conclusion - Jesus flatly stated as much in Matthew 16:28. It’s like reading Moby Dick and reaching the ‘conclusion’ that the whale was white.

I look at as much as necessary. You introduced the word ‘paranormal’ on page 2 of this thread. Nay_Sayer didn’t make the above comment until page 9.

I’m not disputing the quote, I’m objecting to your contention that you and the good doctor somehow reached a ‘conclusion’. That the Jesus character expected to return within the lifetimes of some of those in his audience is a brute fact, not ‘a judgement or decision reached by reasoning’. There is nothing to reason out.
