I was listening to a news report about Fentanyl today and couldn't help but think that the extreme restrictions put on the use of narcotic pain meds helped get us here.
If I had gone through my breast cancer surgeries after the big crackdown, I am pretty sure I would have found a way out. Even the narcotics I was given only dulled things enough that I didn't jump off a bridge. To this day, I still have pain every damn day and just have to hope that tomorrow won't be as bad as today.
