Is Daglo its proxy in Africa?
It seems hugely unlikely, for a few reasons:
-The US has reasons (some good, some not so good) for the actions they take. There doesn’t seem to be any particular US interest that would be served by supporting the RSF over the SAF.
-Dagalo (personally) and the RSF have both been sanctioned by the US, which seems an odd thing to do if you want to use them topple the Sudanese government.
-There are strong ties - in weapons, training, security, and logistical support - between the RSF and the Wagner Group. If the US was using the RSF as a proxy, it would be seen as directly supporting the Wagners.
