Quote:I never advocated for infanticide I was just saying that in the psalm they were proclaiming their anger against the babylonians for killing their children, naturally people tend to get a little heated if you murder their child and the entire message of scripture is of the love between a Parent and their Child.Yes because nothing says love like unmediated violence![]()
Quote:Our ancestors were not perfect, but they did strive to hold to values that their society at the time generally disregard which I guess every generation has had their foolish hearts. Not being perfect is not an excuse. Some values are rightly cast into the dust bin of history but again that's not an excuse in this case.

Quote: and the fact that you are taking a 'holier than thou' attitude at that but still advocate for abortion is astounding.Because there is nothing wrong with abortion there is something very wrong with what those people did.
Quote:We talked about the Rapists and the Pedophiles already and that is in the past now, execute them and Purge Evil from the midst of Israel!Nope using one evil to stop another evil is still evil.
So we agree on something here, what those people did in the Bible 'dashing children's brains out on the rocks' was wrong, we agree on that. But letting a expecting mother silence the life inside her womb because it is a little younger than say the 1 year old infant that the Babylonians killed. That is a 'totally different story' and is completely acceptable because she didn't push it out yet? If you tested that Baby's DNA, would you get Human DNA that was different from the mother's? If it is Human DNA then it is a Human Being, if it is different from the Mother, then it is its own person.
Also you should not confuse Righteousness and the Will of God with Evil.
