I was feeling kinda guilty for making the dogs stay in the kitchen and attached laundry room till I remembered that some years ago when our house was being rebuilt after a storm, husband, me, three dogs, and the cat were all in the room that is now my office for a little over a month.

The kitchen is much larger, has nice cool tile floors, plenty of room for the big dog bed and another dog bed. Their food and water is there. The cat can jump over the gate when he wants to go in there.

Cleaning blood off the tile floor is much easier than cleaning it off the furniture.

Best to commit murders away from your home.
