Thankfully I'm married to a cafeteria catholic. We rarely have discussions about religion. She often supports me when so called 'christians' make less than flattering remarks about my nonbelief (you poor soul, what's wrong with you, you're going to hell, god still loves you.....)
The religious here automatically assume everyone is christian. May explain our recent state/nations political right movement. I hope that their high jinks cause a national shift to the center.
My nondenominational fundy ex raised our son after the divorce. He's slowly changing his views on religion (or a least won't talk to me about it) but for some reason remains far right on most political views. Neither of them would get the covid vaccination because it was tested on an 'aborted' fetal cell line. Guess who both got covid.
