^ You can be vaccinated for the flu and still get it, too. It's best guess on the next strains and then scrambling to make the doses.
My wife came back from a cruise with her quilting friends with an active case of covid and took no precautions for the first two days back. She figured that since the people on the cruise ship stopped testing after 5 days that she was non-infectious.
My two sons, my cancer survivor brother who is completely disabled from COPD after laryngeal cancer (chemo, surgery and radiation) and I never even had a sniffle. I should have taken a swab a few times to verify whether I am one of those people who exhibit no symptoms. That's a double-edged thing- I didn't suffer- yay! OR, I'm a carrier and could have unwittingly infected people, no matter that I mask and wash? Boooo.
