Other than the subject of religion, we were basically a normal family struggling to get by. At one point in the late 80s, I had a full-time job and 2 part-time jobs, and worked 6 days a week for over 10 years. Sundays were the only day I could sleep in, and they were always at church until lunch time, which meant we had half a day a week for family stuff.
I helped coach our sons football and baseball teams and bathed our daughter every night until she was old enough to do it herself. My wife didn't raise our kids, we did.
Splitting/breaking up wasn't an option for either one of us, and would have fucked up our kids. So we made it work.
Don't pay to much attention to Ahriman. His elevator don't go anywhere near the top.
