What are you getting from blathering on here about it?  Do you not understand that this forum isn't the place for this topic?

I think people in the Jezikoslovlje section on forum.hr are even less qualified to talk about this than an average person is. An average person doesn't know how science works and realizes that they don't know that. People on forum.hr are laymen who read a lot of tertiary sources such as etymological dictionaries, and tertionary sources almost never discuss stuff such as p-values (the basics of modern scientific method). Yet they are convinced they understand how science works. An average person realizes they don't know how science works, people on forum.hr have their heads filled with a precise but wrong answer.

That’s a fair point: you yourself are an average [that’s me being generous] person who doesn’t know how science works. Trouble is, you don’t realize this about yourself.
