Winterhold uses twitter much differently than I do, that is for certain.

I love Twitter! So many eccentric people recommending books I would never otherwise hear about! 

There's a schizophrenic guy who works as a chef in a fancy restaurant in LA, knows everything there is to know about minor Neoplatonic philosophers, and has an obsession with rare insects. Where else are you going to meet somebody that fun? 

But it's so huge, I expect that people find whatever they're looking for -- including the worst sorts of creeps and bigots.
