That is an interesting subject, if you're interested in the history of the development of the Christian subsect of Judaism.
First, it's a "hot subject" (or was for a while). In Judaism there were many divine beings, ... that didn't make them gods.
I'm not sure when scholars realized that, but a number of PhD theses were written about it, in the last 10 years.
(Now academia is interested in "later" dates than they thought for a lot of the OT.)
Anyway, the interesting thing is that the divinity of Jesus is different in the gospels.
In Mark, he was born a human only, and earned divinity. In Matthew and Luke he was a pre-existent being who gave up divinity, and took it back later.
In John, (with all the Gnostic influence) he was a divine being all along, but temporarily took on human form.
