I doubt that he will actually remove this feature. Why? Because both Google Play and The App Store require social media apps like Twitter allow users to block other users. If they remove the Twitter app, that knocks out 99.25% of the mobile market.
His rebranding has already knocked the "X" app to 50th or so in the Play Store, while "Threads" is #2. At any rate, I'm done, as of today. Why stick with something while the owner continually thinks up features to remove or put behind a paywall?
