Currently, illegals are being put up in hotels at taxpayer expense, while Americans, including disabled vets, are in the streets.
That's probably the difference between the left and right right there. The right sees this and thinks "why should immigrants live in hotels while disabled vets are on the streets?"
The left thinks "Why the fuck should ANYONE in such a prosperous nation have to live on the streets or not have their lower-tier Maslovian needs met?"
