Well yes, once you've admitted your position is based on essentially nothing, you lose all credibility. This is why most theists don't do it. No offence meant to you, but theists who admit their belief is based on nothing don't actually bother me, because they tend to be of the "moderate" variety and they don't actually harm anyone. I'd much rather see a load of fundies here (not that you aren't welcome).
