How exciting! The RCC has elected a new chief exorcist! I guess the old one has become too weak to fight against demons.
Quote:The International Association of Exorcists has a new president. According to the association's press release, the Czech priest and canon lawyer Karel Orlita, exorcist of the Brno diocese, was elected new president at a meeting in Rome. Father Francesco Bamonte, exorcist of the diocese of Rome, became Vice President.
From the 25th to the 30th. September 2023 the International Conference of the International Association of Exorcists ( AIE ) took place in the "Fraterna Domus" house in Sacrofano. According to the press release, 203 exorcists from all continents and around 100 assistants attended the conference.
The focus of the discussions was therefore on various topics, including the challenges and dealing with occult practices and sects. The tasks and responsibilities of the exorcists as well as their spiritual approach were also the topic of the conference.
Pope Francis sent a telegram: "On the occasion of the biennial conference of the International Association of Exorcists, the Holy Father Francis sends his greetings to the organizers, speakers and participants", it says in the letter signed by Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin. The Pope hoped "that the moments of deepening the service to exorcisms, as delicate and necessary as they may be, favor the confession to wisdom."

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
