That is a terrible thing but it was also a terrible thing to kill a bunch of people who had just shown up for work, were drinking their second cup of coffee, and reading emails. They were mostly civilians though not babies and probably not your definition of poor.
Just people trying to live their lives. Same damn thing.
You will never understand this concept in wars until you put yourself in the shoes of the one who got their families killed in the first place.
Israel went too far in brutalizing Palestinians, and they did so for generations, put yourself in the Palestinians' shoes; I mean it's easy because all of us have people that we love and family members.
Imagine if a guy came and murdered your kids, then took your house and ordered you to live in the garden, daily he'll raid you with guard dogs, and beat the hell out of you from time to time, all that he does periodically, systematically, day after day for decades.
Yes, and he takes away your car, no transportation for you, so you spend decades looking in the wall and watching the abusive man have parties and dance with hookers, drink and eat and fuck, while you are prevented from your basic rights.
Palestinians in Gaza are like inmates who got tortured since the day they were born, they hate the guts of Israelis and the hell they made them endure, that's before the war even.
Brutality creates the most deadly enemies, Hitler knew that before he die for example.
