It will be a while before Eastern San Diego County gets any snow.
The "rents" (my parent's ranch) are too close to the ocean to get snow.
I used to live on Jewel St. in LaJolla. Navy, of course.
Very cool. One of my friends lived on Jewel also ! Very very nice place to live.
Their first day there, ... there was a small earthquake, and the pool was "sloshing" end to end.
Nice park there, and quiet. Fun baseball there. They ask if you want to play too. Close to the ocean and beach restaurants. Very convenient to everything.
So great to go down and stand on an aircraft carrier, and see all the amazing Navy things. The power of the Navy is so awe inspiring.
Out by Julian, they actually have four seasons, snow at night (and the best pie/wine shop in the world).
