Yeah, the notion of "cutting down" was always a fool's errand for people like us wasn't it? But this is something different I think; some people really do just not feel the need for it except in very limited times/situations. The main reason it doesn't make sense to me is just that you need to have a certain amount of nicotine in your system to get the buzz in the first place, so if some people can literally have one smoke a month or whatever, I don't see how it could physically provide any satisfaction; you'd need to have a few just to get the effect, is what I'm saying.
That's not necessarily true. I was in the hospital once and wasn't allowed outside for a few weeks. When I finally was, I lit up. It floored me. I was dizzy and felt like throwing up.
