It turns out the guy who taught me guitar was REALLY fucking wrong about how difficult "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover" was. And with confirmation from Paul Simon himself.
I was astonished enough that I felt the need to go through my archives just to see how wrong he was. So, here’s my guitar teacher’s version (and as always, just click to see a higher resolution version):

In fairness, he did get the chords for the chorus right. And I may have missed a passing tone or two.
