Millie Bobby Brown's Damsel Will Introduce a Dragon Unlike Any Seen Before

The dragon in Netflix's Damsel isn't going to be like any incarnation of the mythical creature seen in other movies and TV shows, according to director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.

It may not be a true fantasy film without a fire-breathing dragon, and while Damsel will include such a creature, it's promised to be unique.

“The benchmark of dragons is so high,” Fresnadillo said. "We worked hard on a new concept, a really great meeting point between fantasy creature [and] real. The dragon in this movie is a character, not only a beast but also something else."
