i really dont understand the bible all the time.

I understood my experience with christ though.

Not much to understand about that, tbh.  Do you think a father should say no when someone asks them to murder their child?  Seems a low empathy move not conducive to the flourishing of civilisation and therefore not of benefit to yourself or others.  Bad precedent to set, child sacrifice at the behest of disembodied voices.
