It took me 3+ years to work off the projects that I had put off while working, that I didn't want contractors to do. I saved a ton (but jacked up my back-there's the trade-off). People were asking me what I would do with my time. I also do wood working and wood carving. Read, look at pron on the internet, 
etc. I am considering talking to the local school district about being a temp for physics and math teachers, but I just don't know, for sure.
