Theism is identified by it's anthropomorphizing divinity. That's the whole difference between a/the deist god and a/the theist god. Personal, and intervening. If you don't believe in a god like that, then you're not a theist, plain and simple.

Further, the idea that the god of cathol is represented as both male and female is not true biblically, nor is it true in the many centuries of the development of the faith thereafter.
