Insurance paid it all...that's why I remain on my husband's insurance instead of going the Medicare route.
Along with the stomach ulcer I have been diagnosed with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collagenous_colitis and this ginormous bottle of capsules is supposed to put that in remission.
We'll see how it goes.
***adding***there is some thought that statins can be part of the cause of this wonderful condition. I have been fighting my cardiologist for ages and not been compliant with taking statins. At the end of January, he and I got into it again and I took three doses in a week and then all hell broke loose. He can shove his statins directly up his ass.
Thanks, I feel much better now. How are they treating your stomach ulcer?
I'm being curious because my wife has recently been having GI issues similar to you. Tentative colitis diagnosis, antibiotic shotgun treatment for now. They wanted to give her a smooth muscle antispasmodic but it's contra indicated with glaucoma.
None of my tests revealed an infection so no antibiotics. They are treating stomach acid that will hopefully help healing. They are saying inflammation - not infection. If this new stuff works, I can start cutting back on the amount of Librax (which was actually the next strongest thing they could give me as the first attempt didn't do a damn thing.)
These meds are for short term use - hopefully - so the side effects should be minimal.
