Doesn't take a fucking rocket scientist to figure out that it's repulsive to imprison/kill/allow the kiling of a rape victim. What it does take is a nation full of insecure, paranoid, barbaric and ignorant men, all suffering from the same delusion, with guns/rocks.

The afghans(pashto, tajik, usbek, turkmen etc.) live under a state that is in anarchy.
The taliban are classified as "extremists", the same kind who were employed to fight the soviets.
They happily kill other moslem civillians for not joining them, so what really stops them from doing this?

I'd really like to think that this girl is being judged by the laws of Taliban.
But if she is judged by the laws of the US backed government, I think one can only blame the US for bringing just the type of democracy that they need.

Not that Afghanistan is rebuilding in any way either. They're just destroying it even further by burning opium, the only stuff that keeps Afghans alive.
