Hell, no. It seems to be a "tribal identity" kinda thing. The theists are all artificially inoffensive to each other whereas we atheists keep it real and if we can toss an insult or two into the mix, all the better. I take it as a sign of integrity, moral self-confidence, intelligence; atheism is just better all the way around.

If I invest my identity in some stupid shit and get butthurt because of the response of the community, that just means it is time to take my head out of my ass. The things I have invested identity in, I don't need to force on another, and I simply cannot be insulted over. Like that dang Gwynnies.
