By comparison Britain's south coast didn't return a single constituency for Farage, all his victories seem to be on the East coast for some reason.
I would be carful to assume that people vote racist and xenophobic in those arees where foreigners are most numerous, or areas that are most affected. In Germany, its actual the other way around. Voting is based much more on perception than on facts than one would think, and the new fascists know their paybook.
