Elon Musk Complains About Non-White Comics Characters
Elon Musk continued his campaign against “woke” on Thursday by posting a meme that showed a number of fictional characters that have been race-swapped in other adaptations.
The petty complaint that white characters — which were created primarily when white men were almost exclusively in charge of creating things — were being portrayed by non-white actors is not a new one. It was done to be more inclusive and represent more of the world outside our window, which is something Marvel’s very own Stan Lee said often.
None of these characters are real. Not one of them. They never had races or genders. And there are way more effective ways to tell people you’re racist than by whining about imaginary creatures.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
