It's become clear, from Trump's "suckers and losers" comments to Vance's "gut the VA" rhetoric, and the deafening silence of opposing voices from the rest of the Gross Old Party, that while service to our country may be (at lease on stage) be put on pedestal, if you cost them any money due to injuries sustained during that service, you can go fuck yourself.
We routinely hold corporations liable for deaths and injury through tort law, yet Trump and Vance want to shirk that duty when it comes to our vets. Not surprising coming from tangerine turd and a homo-sectional, I guess.
Both parties pay lip-service to us, but treat us like lemons -- once we're squeezed dry of juice, they throw us away and forget all their sweet words. That Trump is more blatant about it, and that Democrats try on occasion, is not a major deviance either way.
They don't care about us. We're useful for campaigns, and then put away on the back shelf for another three years until the next fuckhead needs to look patriotic.
One thing I like about Walz is that as a sergeant-major, he knows what it means to really look out for your folks. Hopefully Harris puts him in charge of VA oversight.
