When I first lost my fingers, I tried writing with my left hand, but I just couldn't do it. After two weeks of trying, I just gave up. Since that time, I've learned to hold the pen with my left hand, and guide it through the movements with my right hand. I was labeling vacuum seal bags tonight, and I learned that my left hand has learned enough from the right hand that I can label the bags with my left hand without any help from the right.
