There are two more possibilities to this optical phenomenon:
1) A fucking Israeli from the children of Israel who were impatiently awaiting down the Sinai mountain for the end of the interview between God and Moses put a polarized glass window between them so as God could have a good look to his beloved Prophet whereas dear Moses could only devine where his Godliness seats on his throne.
2) The first possibility could be denied as too primitive for that time so that they actually spoke at a video-conference and a technical angel blurried purposely the face of God .
Other solutions are open to be suggested.
