if we don't protect ourselves, we put ourselves in danger. so just b/c God protects us doesn't mean we should not also protect ourselves.

So why trust god then if he requires you to save/protect yourself? If one must count on one's self and nobody else, why have faith in him at all in this life or the next? You have a useless God.

You can make amends by taking the time to care about your spelling for starters. Its atrocious considering most Internet browsers such as Google Chrome spell-check everything for you.

You were the one being literal-minded about God's omnipresence, and WHAT does human sacrifice have anything to do with every first-born son in Egypt being murdered by a monstrous deity who demands human service and sacrifice anyway?

Ezekiel 20:26 I let them become defiled through their gifts--the sacrifice of every firstborn --that I might fill them with horror so they would know that I am the LORD.

If you're going to worship a monster god, at least have the decency to admit its an evil malevolent being you hold in adoration.
