Even if there weren't contradictions in the quran, it would not prove anything, since the Quran had one single author, unlike the bible which is many books collected into one. It is not that hard not contradict yourself when you are the one single author.
The Quran was written some time after The Prophets oral pronouncements. The sayings were collected (largely) by Abu Bakr, who relied on bits and pieces that people scattered across the peninsula and the collation was performed by an indeterminate number of scribes. The result is thus largely dependent on human memory and the skills of the people writing down what other people recalled, however imperfectly.
In other words, the Quran also had multiple authors.
