It's amazing to me that Christians, who support and are supported by the omnipotent god they worship, should find themselves on the shit-end of the stick. Surely their faith and devotion to this utterly powerful being would be enough to shield them from worldly persecution; but no, somehow this god of theirs cannot shield them from any suffering.
It's also interesting that while they talk volumes about the sacrifices of their Jesus, this whole "immigrants are coming to take my jobs" thing is a huge ask for them, but the Jesus they claim to worship advised to "Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me".
