It doesn't hurt, really, but when we put the French Country buffet in the family room, and took the two cabinets out of the family room to the curb, even though my youngest son did most of the work, I was breathing hard. Coming from a guy who used to run for miles with no trouble, this is quite concerning. I put out a notice on a metalworking forum that I am a member of, either for forming those pieces or making the whole thing.(December 31, 2024 at 9:27 pm)Fireball Wrote: Right? I look through the peephole first. That's for the ones who go past the gate that says, "Please, no Soliciting. Thank You". It doesn't latch, because we tore down the decrepit 55 year old wall that it closed on. I'm going to build an ornamental iron gate for the front entry, as soon as I can find a person to bend the arches to match the miters in the entryway. I can weld the rest, but bending those pieces I can't do. Well, maybe. I made a fan shroud for my truck. I beat a piece of aluminum strap over a 5 gallon propane tank that had an expired proof pressure date (thus, empty), using a 2-pound sledge hammer. Guess I can buy some square steel tube, now. I'll see if I can get a red blood cell transfusion, first. I'm at least a quart low.
My home office is at the front of the house and the door is right next to the front door. I usually see anyone walking up and it better be UPS, Fedex, a grocery delivery, or food delivery or I am tempted to crawl out in the hallway to pretend I am not here. LOL
Feel better soon.
