Then I must assume that you're confused about what it means to be human.

What matters isn't what human means, but it's level of classification. Human is a species, but God isn't.

It's one of the many facets of Christian theology that never made sense to me. If you're human you're human and if you're divine you're divine, and never the twain shall meet. Famously portrayed by that tiny gap that Michelangelo left between the fingers of God and Adam.
