We are talking Trump lawyers, are we not?

Roberts is shitting bricks sideways about his court's role in the ongoing fiasco already. Granted, SCOTUS cannot enforce anything, but I think he's looking through the lens of history and being seen as the Chief Justice who allowed democracy to be dismantled, and doesn't want to be thrown under the bus.

Personal opinion, I think he's too late, and history will see his court complicit in the dismantling of American democracy. I do think he will try, but that boat left the harbor a loooooong time ago, with Citizens United, which he agreed with.

Since a court, particularly a high court like scouts has no way to enforce it's decisions, all it had is it's moral authority and integrity.....which scouts gave up long ago.

So, it's maybe a mooz Point already what scouts decides. They have given up being a separate branch of government years ago.
