to install his $400 million basketball court. It’s more than a little misleading because;
-The basketball court was outdoors, not indoors.
-The cost was actually minimal, since Obama re-purposed an existing tennis court.
-The $400 million figure represents an extensive infrastructure upgrade to the entire White House complex.
-The appropriation, while spent during the Obama years, was actually approved by Congress during the Bush administration.
-The photograph is from 1934.
