In the last couple of months both Arizona and Arizona State Universities have hired new football coaches. The combined salaries for these two guys is 18.05 million dollars ( plus some unspecified "incentives") for the next five years. Last July, it was reported that the 3 top schools in the state were raising tuition between 35 and 38%.
The problem is not the 'government.' The problem is us. As a society we have lost our fucking minds and have no conception of what is valuable anymore.
Fix that first.
